I contacted Scottie on 5/30, he was aware of the situation. away (holiday and concert weekend) around 3 in the morning. My mother and I did not get into a new room until 1.5 hrs. "Sorry, there is nothing we can do." Tony DID NOT give me a walk letter for any other hotel. When we got to the hotel at approximately 12:45 AM we were told by Tony "They did not have a room for me and there are no notes in the system about arriving late". I was told by Scottie, "I will enter a note that you will arrive after 11:00 PM." My credit card company was told by Amy "I was a no show." I called a total of 5 times between 5/22 and 5/27, the day of my reservation to prevent ANY problem. I was told by Tony, even if I arrive late, "I will not lose my room". If you call for an early check in, there will be no rooms available for early checkin. IF YOU HAVE A RESERVATION, IT DOES NOT MEAN THEY WILL RESERVE A ROOM FOR YOU. Do not stay at this place if you’re looking for a high standard of personal care / attention - clearly this is not the place where you are looked after. Having someone in the room at 9.15pm cleaning up whilst I am in the room is not acceptable at any level. I would never ever ever recommend anyone to stay here, which is a real shame as my company do a lot of business travel into Columbus - this was the first and last time we use this place. Day 3 - I returned from work at 8.45pm after leaving at 7am and the rooms are in a state! No one cleaned up! It took someone 25mins to come up to the room (9.15pm) to clean up! Absolutely diabolical - having worked 14hrs, to then come back to a dirty room third day in a row - what a complete shambles. I called front desk - and an apology was given and a promise by the Front of House Manager who brought fresh towels that he would personally get the room thoroughly cleaned. Day 2 - I requested my room to be cleaned, after a long days work - I can back to a uncleared room. ![]() After calling reception to find out why - I was told that the hotel had a policy of rooms only cleaned on request - had someone told me on checkin - I would have known but fine, I said I’ll request the following day. On returning from my day out on Day 1, I came back to see that the room has not been cleaned. They were fully booked so I took a room here for 5 nights. The overall hotel looks nice and I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in, I usually stay at the AC Marriott in Dublin so am used to a good level of care.
